We are so excited to start preparing for our trip to India and Sri Lanka!

We will be sending out important information over the next several weeks so please keep an eye out regarding: exact trip dates, pre-departure meeting dates, paper work and other details.  Also, we will start posting information on a blog shortly which will have all the details pertaining to pre-travel information, packing, etc. (Please hold specific questions until after we send out this link.)

In the meantime:

 - Make sure all passports are current (and not expiring within 6 months after the return of the trip).  If you don't have a passport - time to go get one and expedite the service.
- E-mail us a copy of your passport or send a copy with your student  If unable, please send: name exactly as it appears on passport, passport number, expiration and DOB.  
- Schedule an appointment with your physician regarding vaccinations.  Make sure you are current on all routine vaccinations.  While the overall risk is very low on this trip, it is a decision each family should make with their doctors.  Travelers to this area sometimes get Hep A/Hep B/ Typhoid, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, Malaria...but again, I predict only a handful of vaccinations are needed at most.  You can find information here:

- If you're feeling up to it, start the process of applying for your India travel visa. Please know that this can be a lengthy and frustrating process, so consider at least reading it over to become familiar with the requirements. Upon completion of the online form, passports must be sent away, therefore it's imperative that your passport is current so you can begin this process as soon as possible. https://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com/homepage

Currently, it looks like our travel dates will be Tuesday, July 22 through Wednesday, August 6 (possibly arriving on 7th). We will confirm once we've purchased flights, which will happen as soon as we receive passport copies.

Thursday 4/17 - First student meeting 3:15-4:00 (Intro to visa process)

Thursday 5/22 - Parent meeting 6:00-7:00pm in Mustang Hall

Every Wednesday - Student meetings 3:15-3:45 (Cultural studies, travel tips, health and exercise routine, etc.)
